Deacon T was educated, baptized, and received the gift of the Holy Spirit at Mountaintop Faith
Ministries (MFM), Las Vegas, NV under the guidance of Pentecostal Assembly of the World’s
(PAW) Bishop Clinton House. In 2005, Tom was appointed to the Deacon Board by Bishop
House and was assigned to various ecclesiastical duties including teachin

(PAW) Bishop Clinton House. In 2005, Tom was appointed to the Deacon Board by Bishop
House and was assigned to various ecclesiastical duties including teaching in the Sunday
School, and Adult Continuing Education Ministry.
Deacon T continued serving at MFM until 2008 when he was called to be a founding member,
Deacon, and the Pastor’s Armor Bearer, at Restorer of The Breach Ministries, under the
direction of founding Pastor Ontiwaun Carter. Deacon T ministered to the congregation,
teaching and preaching the word of God, while serving the needs of the Pastor.
In 2013, a job change caused Deacon T to leave Restorer of the Breach, and begin his own
ministry, Modern Word Ministries (MWM). Since then he and his wife, Kim Pero Moore have
used their gifts to grow MWM into a church that ministers (on-line and in person) to hundreds of
people every week. Additionally, Deacon T is frequently called upon to preach and minister to
congregations and assemblies across the United States. Tom and his wife Kim along with their
children Michael, Karly, and Oriana, reside in Las Vegas.

Baptized at an early age, Kim always had the support of her parents. Her father was both a Minister and a tenured Professor of Systematic Theology and Philosophy at The Lutheran School Theology at Chicago.
Growing up, she attended Lutheran schools and sang in the church choir. She attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Kim moved to Las Vegas with Deacon T and began attending Mountain Top Faith Ministries, where she served on the Deacon Wives Board. She continued her spiritual journey at Restorer of the Breach Ministries, where she taught Children’s Sunday School.
Kim became a founding member of Modern Word Ministries with Deacon T where she serves as the Director of the Outreach Program, Feeding the Homeless One Day at a Time.

The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ died on the cross at Calvary for the sins of mankind. He rose from the dead, in His glorified body, on the 3rd day, and He ascended into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God the father. Hear about the death and resurrection, listen to God's Word.
Salvation
Salvation - a gift from God, through grace, and by faith in Jesus Christ. All who believe in the name of Jesus Christ may be saved by turning from sin to repentance, and by being born again by the Holy Spirit through trusting in Jesus’s death and resurrection. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is available to all who believe in Jesus Christ, and is evidenced by the gift of speaking in tongues, and water baptism by emerging in water as Jesus Christ was baptized.
Sanctification
Sanctification - a separation from the world, unto God. Living a life of true holiness.
The 2nd coming of Jesus Christ
The 2nd coming of Jesus Christ - Jesus Christ will come again to Earth in glory and power to call all believers to heaven where they will be in the presence of God for eternity.
The Holy Bible
The Holy Bible Is the infallible and authoritative word of God, given directly to all men and women, by God, for salvation. We believe that The Holy Bible is God's word. The truth revealed in it has no human origin but comes from God. The Holy Spirit inspired holy men of God to write The Holy Bible. We therefore believe that The Holy Bible is without error, completely true, and as relevant today as the day it was written. We receive the books of the Old and New Testament as eternal, authoritative, coherent, complete, all sufficient, and the only infallible rule of faith. Its message is intended for all people. It is expressed in words and in terms, which everyone can understand. It's central theme and purpose is the salvation of man.
